Intellectual Property
You’ll retain sole copyright, ownership and control over everything you give us to write, proofread, copyedit and translate. This includes any documents subsequently created or developed by us. All writing submitted to and edited by our contracted staff remains the intellectual property of the original author.
What do we use your information for?
- To spell your name correctly when we write back to you. We hate when people misspell our names.
- To retrieve documents from the right Dropboxes, g-drives or FTP sites.
- To send work to the right email addresses.
- To process payments quickly so you can budget effectively.
- To send you stuff we think you’ll like.
Plagiarism, Copyright and Content
Remember: breach of copyright and plagiarism are illegal. We assume no liability for the infringement of third-party copyright in the source content of anything you give us.
Non-Disclosure Agreements
Should you wish to have us sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), please email a PDF of your NDA to info@reword.ca.
How do we protect your information?
With class-leading security including a secure server, and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) file transferring.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page, and/or update the privacy policy modification date below.
This policy was last modified on 01/01/2024.
Do we disclose any of this information to outside parties?
Never, except for what we have to disclose to our suppliers who operate our website and do our accounting — but we have non-disclosure arrangements with them. Oh, and if the law asks us for something, we’ll hand it over. We wouldn’t do well in jail.
