About our print & POS copywriting services
Legendary adman David Ogilvy said there’s an interesting story about everything — you just have to take the time to find it.
We take the time.
First, we get to know the product or service we’re advertising by holding it, examining it and trying it. Then we research everything about it, from how it’s put together to how it’s delivered.
One time, we learned that the little screws that held a toy’s battery cover in place were chosen specifically to make it easier for parents and harder for kids to open. Smart of them to think about that, and smart of us to highlight it.
Print ad & POS editing and proofreading
Many of our clients print out hundreds of pieces a month. Oftentimes, their layout artists are up all hours of the night preparing the assets for print and sometimes things get missed: little things like mice-type legal and big things like verbs.
Our editors will double, triple and final check before you send your ads and POS pieces off to print to make sure you don’t have to call them back and print them again. And we’ll even check the layouts for things like line breaks so your pieces look as good as they read.
French translation for print ads & POS materials
With French 15–20 percent longer than English on average, a direct translation might not be the best way to go if you want your print ad or POS piece to look right. So our French translators capture the essence of the message you want to put out there. Once they’re done, our editors and proofreaders will make sure the layout looks right and the legal is where it should be.
Ad writing tip
Fewer words isn’t always the answer. If your audience has time to read (like, if it’s a transit ad), go nuts on the verbiage. But make it interesting.
