About our speech writing services
First we sit down to listen to how you speak. Do you speak slowly or quickly? Do you have an accent? The more we know about your voice, the better we can write for it.
During our initial consult, we’ll also go through the expectations your audience has. What are they hoping to hear from you? Is it something you’ve said before? And speaking of the audience, we’ll want to know who they are too. Clients? Friends? Family? Strangers?
After the massive information dump you give us, we’ll be ready to start writing. And then you’ll be ready to start persuading. And with the speech we write for you, it’ll be easy.
Copyediting and proofreading for speeches
Editing and proofreading a speech is super fun for us because we actually get to step inside the mind of our clients.
We’ll check your facts, figures and names so you don’t actually get up there and blow it over misinformation.
Then we’ll read your speech at the podium and listen for common areas of struggle. Maybe a sentence that trips everyone up, or a section that even the speaker can’t deliver with a straight face.
We do it this way so we don’t wind up changing something really good because of a personal bias. This isn’t our speech, it’s yours. And we want you to feel awesome delivering it.
French translation for speeches
If you have to deliver your speech in French, it’d better be accurate. The more you can endear yourself to your audience, the better response you’ll probably get.
Speech writing tip
As a rule of thumb, one page of double-spaced, 12-point text will take slightly less than two minutes to read at a reasonable pace.
