Our approach to bio copy
We don’t fill bios with everything under the sun because no one’s going to read it. Instead, we give readers just enough information to let them know what you’re all about and compel them to want to know more about you. We’ll dig deep into your CV and your LinkedIn profile, we’ll talk to the people you think we should be talking to and we’ll even hunt down people you might not think would add value to your story. And we can take whatever tone suits you.
Bio copyediting and proofreading
If you prefer to write your own bio, that’s cool. Unless it’s filled with mistakes that devalue your accomplishments. Then it’s not so cool. We’ll check bios for errors in syntax, spelling and facts to make sure the piece is doing you justice. Then we’ll format it to fit the site or publication it will be appearing on or in. And if something changes in your story, feel free to send through the information and we’ll update accordingly.
French translation for bios
If “fluent French speaker” isn’t part of your story, you’re going to have a hard time translating it. But if you check our bio section, you’ll see that our translators are fluent French speakers so you’re covered. We won’t translate your bio directly. Instead, we’ll capture the essence of your story so it reads well. And if you need your bio translated into other languages, let us know which ones. We’ll make it happen.
